Our previous success:
On July 14, 2022 a National Funeral was held in the Rotunda of the Capitol in Washington for the last MOH recipient from World War II, Hershel "Woody" Williams. It was the first time in the 246 year history of America that an enlisted man was allowed to lie in honor / lie in state. The Speaker of the House and the Senator Minority leaders spoke. That afternoon over 1,000 gathered at the National World War II Memorial for a second service.
Your donation supports our mission to convince Congress to pass legislation to ensure America recognizes and honors the men and women who served in the military during the Korean War, Vietnam War and beyond. State Funeral leaders contribute many expenses on their own. Our annual budget is lean, includes no travel and approved by our Executive Board. Thank you for your patriotic support! Make a donation now.
